Crowns Project® is a multidisciplinary event highlighting the history and meaning of head wraps in the African, Caribbean Diaspora and around the world! The project's goal is to share within the community the significance of the fabric that is tied at our "crowns" (head) and the impact it has on those who wear them and share their wrapping techniques. Conceived, choreographed and directed by Milteri Tucker Concepcion and in collaboration with Bombazo Dance Co members, our Crowns Project® unites, educates and advocates for head wraps worn by all!

Our workshop consists of dance, history and community wrapping techniques taught by our company members!

Available for bookings! Email us at to bring CROWNS PROJECT® to your institution and or event!
